SARAH + MICHAEL’S HISTORICAL FARMHOUSE WEDDING | INTIMATE FIRST TOUCH | CHARMING OPEN AIR CHAPEL WEDDING WITH HORSES | SAN ANTONIO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | AUSTIN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Sarah first contacted us about capturing her and Michael’s wedding day back in August of last year. This is some of what she said in her first message to us:

“I'm absolutely in love with your work, the essence is truly captured within! For some reason, it's taking me a really long time to find the perfect photographer/videographer because I guess my style and vision of how our photos and film will reflect our big day is particular. However, looking through your Instagram and portfolio, I don't feel worried because it's all so beautiful!”

Our hearts melted! As creatives our greatest hope is that every couple and family we work with connects with our photography and videography like Sarah did.

We first met them at Canyon Lake for their engagement session. Canyon Lake has some of the most amazing views in Central Texas, with cliff sides overlooking the lake, fields of tall golden grass, and beautiful trees that had just begun turning deep orange and yellow for Fall.

We first found Sarah in the Gruene Estate’s quaint bridal suite, a one-story house that had plenty of windows and sunlight lighting up its white-walled rooms. One of the bathrooms even had a freestanding bathtub, and you bet we took some photos of Sarah laying in it in her BHLDN Hearst gown!

Before their ceremony Sarah and Michael shared in a first touch and exchanged gifts. Sarah gave Mike a watch and he gave her earrings that they both wore for the rest of the day. Side note: they got us gifts too! They gave each of us the sweetest card and a necklace cut from the heart of the worlds densest pinecones! It was so sweet and meant so much to us that Parisa almost cried. They are from Third Eye Pinecones if you want to check them out!

Their wedding day boasted a beautiful pasture of horses, longhorns, and deer. When we were capturing couple’s photos a beautiful white and brown spotted horse came up to the fence and Sarah used her bouquet to reel him in for photos with her and Michael. Their wedding ceremony was short and sweet, with a passionate first kiss and a lot of hugs and tears with family and friends once it was over.

Words don’t do this day justice.
