ANA + SEAN’S MEXICAN-INSPIRED WEDDING | JACK GUENTHER PAVILION AT THE BRISCOE | SILENT DISCO | SAN ANTONIO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Ana and Sean’s downtown San Antonio wedding at the Jack Guenther Pavilion was a true celebration of family and love. Although the guest list was by no means small, the feeling of Ana and Sean’s wedding day was as intimate as could be. Ana got ready at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel in downtown San Antonio which features a Spanish colonial design that reflects San Antonio’s rich history. She had no bridesmaids and did her own makeup in the warm afternoon light that poured through the windows. Her lace wedding dress was bohemian and elegant and her mantilla veil tied it together perfectly.
During their ceremony, Ana and Sean asked their friend Juan to do a reading. Below is a short segment from his reading.
“Sean y Ana, están por comenzar una nueva etapa en sus vida, un nuevo camino para seguir andando con la misma intensidad pero con una vision totalmente renovada. Lo que dejan atrás, a partir de hoy se convierte en parte de una historia que comenzaran a forjar juntos.”
“Sean and Ana, you are about to begin a new stage in your lives. A new direction to continue walking with the same intensity but with a totally renewed vision. What you leave behind today, becomes a part of a story that you will begin to write together.”
Don’t even get us started on the silent disco! No DJ, just headphones and 3 playlists each playing hip-hop, latin, and oldies! Any one who wants to get on the dance floor (or watch!) can grab a pair of headphones, slip them on, and toggle between channels at their own discretion. Yes, it looks hilarious if you’re not wearing a pair and not hearing the music but that’s what makes it even more fun!
